The Lyn-CAG Housing Department serves families and assists them in obtaining safe, clean, decent, sanitary and affordable housing in the surrounding counties. A formula used to determine the out-of-pocket monthly rental expense a family is required to pay is based on their total family household adjusted monthly income. Annual housing quality inspections are conducted to ensure that all dwellings are maintained in a safe manner. The agency’s service area includes the counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, Charlotte, and Prince Edward.
