The Emergency Transportation Services Program provides transportation services to TANF-eligible (Temporary
Assistance for Needy Families) or low-income clients consisting of vehicle repairs, basic car maintenance education and referrals for other services.
Eligibility Requirements:
Vehicle must not exceed over 10 years in age.
Vehicle mileage must be 150,000 miles or less
Applicant must be employed at least 20 hrs per week for a minimum of 60 days on the current job.
Applicant must be no more than 200% of federal poverty guidelines.
Applicant must have at least one minor child
This program assists with MINOR emergency vehicle repairs. This program does not cover basic tune-ups, engine and/or transmission replacements.
