Lynchburg Community Action Group, Inc. Lyn-CAG has received additional stimulus funds to expand its current Childcare Service Program to clients. The program provides financial assistance to parents whose children require “Before and After School” care, day care or nursery type services. The clients and service providers can be from the counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford and Campbell or the cities of Bedford and Lynchburg.
The program requires that the parent must be employed or enrolled in an educational or vocational program. Parents must be TANF eligible. Childcare providers must be certified.
