Annual Report of the Executive Director 2001 Lyn-CAG's history has been and continues to have a focus toward programs with goals of customer self-actualization. Such initiatives will continue to demand much of our energy. Nevertheless, we welcome such challenges in our effort to better serve those persons that come to us for assistance. The goal of Lyn-CAG is to maintain a plethora of programs and services that are complimentary to the needs of the disadvantaged. Moreover, we have added an infusion of new collaborations, such as our "Transitional Housing Program" for two-parent families and the "Section 8 Program" for Appomattox County. A focus on transportation and our continuing efforts with the Lynchburg-based "Christmas in April Project" are representative of other ongoing projects to which Lyn-CAG staff are committed. It is the aim of the agency to maintain an affiliation with other service providers that support Lyn-CAG's commitment to those in need. Such collaborations should allow us to continue experiencing success as a customer-centered organization. None of that can happen without your ongoing support. In that regard, I thank you for your continued efforts on behalf of the agency. It is my goal and sincere commitment to see that Lyn-CAG continues to be available as a resource to those needing a helping hand for many years to come. I thank you for your help and for your support to our organization. Without you, it would not be possible. I will close with this quote from the book of Proverbs, Chapter 14, verse 23.
